Shipping Policies

You want to buy one of our cuties? I bet you’re wondering about our shipping then! Read on to learn more. 

Our axolotls are shipped with the utmost care and consideration, they are shipped only on Mondays and Tuesdays before 12PM ET to guarantee they arrive as soon as possible. Typically they will be sent FedEx as USPS has removed all arrival guarantees from their shipping methods, we want to ensure your cutie actually arrives when estimated!

They will be thoroughly packed with ice packs and insulation to keep them from overheating while on their journey. Your axolotl themselves will be in a large fish bag with part air, and part water, they need oxygen too despite being fully aquatic!

Due to shipping delays, we only ship overnight, which is $65, this is to ensure your axolotl gets to you quickly and also so you’re covered by our live arrival guarantee. 

Our live arrival guarantee means if we ship overnight to you and they don’t make the trip, you will have a choice of a replacement of equal value or a complete refund(doesn’t include shipping). To qualify for this you must send us a picture of the unopened bag within 1 hour of the delivery.

Purchases for adults must be made by Thursday at 12 AM ET to be shipped the following Monday/Tuesday. 

Our 3-5 inch axolotls can be purchased no later than Saturday at 12 AM ET to be sent the following Monday.

We do not ship to any states where it is illegal to own an axolotl. These are currently: California, the District of Columbia, Maine, and New Jersey. We also do not ship out of the United States.
